Barlow was settled in 1800.  The town was named after a well known poet, Joel Barlow.  It is an unincorporated community in western Barlow Township, Washington County, Ohio.  The zip code is 45712.  The town is the heart of the Warren School District.  Barlow lies at the intersection of Ohio State Routes 339 and 550.  As the area residents know, things are booming in Barlow.
